The Creed of the Eternal Narcoverse, focused on the "Last Outburst of Beauty", will be concocted and disseminated to make a statement from a romantic perspective: The current club sound under the disguise of functionalism is evidently on the brink of becoming obsolete, the subterfuge of reduction is reactionary, the term "minimal" is disused, perceived as a curse or as an excuse for unimaginative productions instead. What a rip-off. Apart from customary club track patterns steadily being recycled, there are hardly any musical references enriching the vibes. So what would be more consequential than getting back to the emotional maximum of music?

Walking the zero line, a horde of copycats celebrate mediocrity by replicating the common sound from the grid for blindfold credibility reasons. Which results in a glut of senseless, uniform releases exposing a lack of intuition, inspiration, emotion, passion, deepness, dynamics, energy, ingenuity, feel for progression and sound design. Given 99% demo waste, A&Rs who are involved in club label activities should relate to that issue. Trapped in a loop, a wide area of popular club culture has become self-referential, an agitation-free zone, an end in itself.

While the crowd's feedback increasingly proves that a distinctive sophisticated approach beyond mechanical mayhem feels like a relief. Every impression of musicality attracts attention, triggers a stunning effect – as long as the result is obviously born of passion. Which helps a lot extending the half-life of contemporary (dance) music to a whole again. Producers who push their very own vision through, who stretch the limits will always have the greatest potential to become heard and appreciated. Most of the time they have proven right when breaking out of the ordinary – by igniting the spark for the first electrifying steps to be taken towards terrains that desire to be reclaimed.

Always remember: never repeat.
